Max had been in a kennel for two year and was a failed law enforcement trainee later given to an abusive home. We adopted him from an out of state rescue where because he was tail less he had little chance of adoption and was on death row. He became part of a cell-block training program and knew commands but was overwhelmed when finally outside of his cage or the prison environment. Elizabeth formulated a walking plan involving pre-arranged treats until he got the idea that not all people were the enemy.
